Cartridge World Partners with New Point of Sale Solution Provider
Retail Information Systems announces new client: Cartridge World.
HOUSTON, TX, August 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cartridge World, the world leader in printer cartridge refilling, has just partnered with Retail Information Systems, the number one global partner for Retail Pro, for their point of sale and corporate back office systems. Retail Information Systems will be providing over 400 North American Cartridge World stores with technical support, training, marketing, and custom software services to meet all of their point of sale and inventory control needs. This partnership officially launched on August 8, 2011 and will help them discover a better ROI on their current Retail Pro investment and provide many ways they can benefit from Retail Information Systems' custom tools and services.
Cartridge World is the world's largest dedicated retailer of ink and toner printer cartridges with locations all over the United States, Europe, Australia, and South Africa, located in 61 countries with over 1600 stores worldwide. They offer a wide array of new and re-manufactured ink/toner cartridges for all printing needs.

Retail Information Systems is eager to assist all store owners in the next couple of weeks to help them adjust to the changes that they will be experiencing during the transition. The strategy is to make all services convenient and easy to use, such as the online support website, www.RISsupport.com, where they can log in to their account, chat with one of the technicians, track the progress of any support ticket, and see updates to a tickets status in real time. "We have plans to move them to the more powerful and flexible Retail Pro Version 9 with an Embedded Oracle Database as soon as possible," says RIS partner David Alston. "RIS has many custom developed tools and interfaces that can leverage Cartridge Worlds Retail Pro investment to its highest possible return and Cartridge World needs to be on Version 9 to take this advantage."
